Agreement

These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Amenly ("we", "us") governing your use of the Amenly app and related services. By using the app you agree to these terms. Where the app is downloaded from Apple's App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; if these terms conflict with it, the stricter term governs.

The app

Amenly is a private prayer journal and Scripture reflection app. It is a reflection aid — not a replacement for Scripture, church, pastoral care, mental health care, or emergency support. If you are in crisis, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional.

Amenly Plus subscription

Amenly Plus is an optional auto-renewable subscription that unlocks premium features such as unlimited recaps, scripture suggestions from your life, and custom prayer reminders. Two plans are offered:

• Amenly Plus Monthly — 1 month, renews monthly.
• Amenly Plus Yearly — 1 year, renews yearly.

Current prices are shown in the app before purchase and may vary by region. Where offered, the first week is a free trial.

• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase (or at the end of the free trial, if one applies).
• The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your device Settings > Apple Account > Subscriptions at any time.
• Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Acceptable use

You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not reverse engineer, resell, or misuse the app or its content, or use it in violation of applicable law. Scripture text is provided under the licenses of its respective translations and remains the property of its rights holders.

Your content

Your journal entries belong to you and are stored on your device. We do not claim ownership of anything you write. See our Privacy Policy for how data is handled.

Disclaimers and liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes and termination

We may update the app and these terms over time; continued use after an update constitutes acceptance. We may discontinue features or the service with reasonable notice. You can stop using the app at any time, and cancel any subscription as described above.
